Analog modular synth experiments made over the span of about a month. Recorded/composed direct to tape, no midi, no computers, no overdubs. The challenge was to name each track after the first thing that came to mind as soon as it was finished, taking idea of painting with sounds as the major inspiration. Additionally, and with a bit of shadenfreude, I was intrigued with the idea of the wealthy traveling to South America for Ayahuasca retreats then having life altering bad experiences as opposed to the inlightening ones (hence the "refund" in the title of this release).
